Perdido Key has churches of every denomination nearby. You might want to experience "Worship on the Water" at the Flora-Bama- Sunday at 9am and 11am CST. Everyone is welcome!

95% of the restaurants listed here have a "flip flop" dress code, in other words, "shoes and shirts required`. Many of our local restaurants are family owned for 30+ years. They provide great service and delicious fresh seafood. If you`re not a fan of seafood, no problem, since all provide alternative land fare. We`re a family-friendly community so kid`s menus are almost always available.

Perdido Key and the surrounding beach areas have lots of events and festivals throughout the year. People travel from everywhere to participate in the Flora-Bama Mullet Toss in April (Throw a fish across the Florida-Alabama line competition)and the Songwriter`s Festival in November. The Shrimp Festival is held in Gulf Shores in October, when the weather is at its absolute best!
7 miles from Perdido Key, the Blue Angels practice at the Naval Air Station most Tuesdays and Wednesdays through November. After practice, the team visits the Naval Aviation Museum for autographs and questions. The Museum has restored aircraft, interactive cockpit trainers for kids, a restaurant, gift shop and IMAX theatre. Other attractions include The Blue Wahoos, minor baseball games, kid`s arcades, Ferris Wheel and zip lines at the Wharf. All of these activities are perfect for families visiting Perdido Key.

Perdido Key has two world-class golf courses. Perdido Bay Golf Club was the former site of the Pensacola Open for 10 years and continues to hold its integrity as a premier championship golf course. Lost Key Golf Club is an Arnold Palmer-designed Audobon Silver Signature Sanctuary.
Shop Publix which has a bakery, deli, flower shop, organic foods, seafood market and liquor store. Rotisserie chicken and a hot bar coupled with prepared salads will make vacation meal-planning effortless. Winn Dixie and seafood markets are also in close proximity. The closest theatre to Perdido Key is at The Wharf at Orange Beach (about 25 minutes). It`s a large Carmike Theatre which offers lots of choices. Added bonus-the Wharf has shopping, dining and amusements. The Southern Grind, one of our favorites, is a unique coffee, sandwich, gift shop.
Perdido Key is a place where the young and the young-at-heart meet to socialize, dance and imbibe at our local establishments. Each is unique but all know how to pour on down-home Southern hospitality. Local musicians and bands from country to rock are always playing somewhere on the Key.
Divers will love our man-made reef on the east end of Perdido Key near the National Seashore. If you prefer a view from above, Parasailing offers aerial views of the Gulf of Mexico and its inhabitants. Prefer low-key adventure? Visit Historic Fort Barrancas or the Pensacola Lighthouse-both just 7 miles from Perdido Key at the Pensacola Naval Air Station.
