How do I make a reservation? Is it secure?
Booking a vacation rental with Perdido Realty is a fast, easy and secure process. Our website contains up-to-date photos and amenities for each rental to help you make the perfect choice for your vacation. Reservations can be booked 24 hours a day online at www.perdidokey.com or by calling our office at 850-492-1102. Our staff prides itself on personal service and can offer options that are tailor-made to your needs.
What is your minimum stay?
In the summer season, there is a 7 night minimum stay. There may be several properties that allow a partial week's stay during the summer season. Call 850-492-1102 to check availability for shorter summer stays. Off-season, there is a 3 night minimum with the exception of some holidays.
How many parking permits are allowed?
A maximum of 2 parking permits will be issued per reservation as space is limited. Unless parking is assigned, it is first-come, first-served. Parking regulations are set by Condominium Associations; therefore Perdido Realty does not have authority to make exceptions. No Campers, RVs, Trailers or Boats are permitted in condominium parking lots. Motorcycle parking is considered one space. NOTE: Ocean Breeze East two bedroom units are issued 1 permit and Sailmaker’s Place 5 bedroom is issued 3 parking permits.
How do I check-in my vacation rental?
You will check in at Perdido Realty’s office which is close to all vacation rentals. We will send an email approximately one week prior to arrival which includes pre-arrival information, check-in information and directions to our office.
What time is check-in?
During Peak Season, check in begins at 3PM CST and could be as late as 5:30 PM CST as properties become available. If you plan to arrive before this time, we cannot check you in or store your chilled groceries or other belongings until the property has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. Your patience is appreciated in these circumstances. Our staff works very hard to maintain high housekeeping standards which may require extra time to accomplish.
What time is check-out?
Check-out time is 10 am. Late check-outs are sometimes available with preapproval from management however, late check-outs are not available during peak season which is late May to late August, holidays or when there is a same-day turnaround between guests.
What if I arrive after office hours?
No problem. Just give us a call and we’ll send detailed instructions. We will also provide an emergency after hours phone number in case you have difficulty during or after check in.
Where can I get a condo information sheet?
At check in, you’ll receive a condo information sheet with the WiFi password, gate and elevator codes, condominium rules, emergency information, common maintenance problems and their remedies, cable guide and procedures.
If I have questions during my stay, who do I call?
Perdido Realty’s helpful staff is available from 9 am to 5 pm to answer any questions you may have. We are open 7 days a week from March 15 through November 1. Otherwise, we are open Monday through Saturday. Please limit any after-hours calls to emergencies only.
Can I change my dates?
Changes can be made outside of 30 days prior to arrival without penalty. There is no charge for the first change. Additional changes are $25.
When can I book for next year?
Reservations are accepted up to one year in advance. So if you’ve found the perfect property for your vacation, we are happy to book it again for you.
Are linens provided?
We provide one set of sheets per bed and sofa sleeper. Bath linens are provided (1.5 per maximum the unit sleeps).
Do your vacation rentals have wireless internet?
All are equipped with wireless internet.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not permitted in any rental unit. A pet, or evidence of a pet, will result in expedited eviction and forfeiture of all monies. Florida law prohibits pets on the beach.
Can I smoke in the condo?
Perdido Realty strictly adheres to a non-smoking policy in our rental units. In most cases, smoking is allowed on the outside balcony. If there is evidence of smoking a $250 fee will be charged to the responsible party’s card on file. Sailmaker’s Place, Palacio, Indigo and Florencia are smoke-free properties.
Is there a washer and dryer in my rental?
Yes, all properties have washer and dryer with the exception of Perdido Sun 1 Bedroom units.
Are beach chairs included with my rental?
Beach chairs are provided by a separate vendor and are not included in your rental. The cost ranges from $25-$30 per day and $125-$130 per week for two chairs and an umbrella.
What does the Damage Waiver cover?
Vacation Rental Damage Waiver covers unintentional damages to the rental unit interior that occur during your stay, provided they are disclosed to management prior to check-out. The waiver will pay a maximum benefit of $1500.00. Any damages that exceed $1500.00 will be charged to the credit card on file. If, during your stay at one of our Rental Properties, a Person causes any damage to real or personal property of the unit as a result of inadvertent acts or omissions, the waiver will reimburse the Person for the cost of repair or replacement of such property up to a maximum benefit of $1500.00.

What is supplied in the home?
Freshly laundered and sanitized linens. (Beds are made).
Bath towel sets which include bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths).
All of our vacation rentals will have a stocked kitchen with basic cookware, dinnerware and flatware.
A starter kit with dishwasher soap, sponge, garbage bags, 1 roll paper towels, 1 roll toilet paper and 2 bars of 1.5 ounce wrapped soap per bath.

What types of extra amenities can I expect?
If you need extras like pack n play's, high chairs, etc., Baby Beach Rentals is your local provider that can deliver to your rental, Please ask one of our friendly staff for details. We encourage you to reserve your items early.
Is daily housekeeping service available?
While your vacation rental is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for your arrival, should you require a mid-stay or daily housekeeping service, it is available for an additional fee depending on the services you require. Can we have guests over during our stay?
The rental rates are based on a set number of occupants. Our homes are personal residences and extra occupants equal greater wear and tear to the property. As a general rule, you may have up to four additional guests, however they must depart no later than 10:00 PM. Condominium rules require quiet time after 10:00 PM. Please note that our rental agreement includes provisions against excessive noise, and a no party policy that is strictly enforced. Let us know if you have any questions or concerns prior to booking.
